the Soulmate Project Update: James Reid and Nancy McDonie share humble beginnings

After the most controversial break-up of Jadine, one of the most biggest love teams in the Philippines, James Reid and Nadine Lustre continue to do projects in a separate way. James Reid is currently doing a project called the Soulmate together with Momoland member, Nancy McDonie. The two started their workshops and part of the workshop was sharing their humble beginnings.

Nancy Jewel McDonie or Lee Seung Ri in Korean, was born on 13th April 2000 (19 years old) and grew up in USA. Her father is an American and her Mom is Korean. According to Nancy, she moved to Korea and she found out that everyone there was obsessed about boy bands and girl bands. She likes to dance a lot that's why her mom took her to a dance academy in Korea.

In Korea, Nancy shared that she was somewhat different looking from other Koreans and probably that was her edge over the others.

James Reid with the real name Robert James Marquinez Reid was born on 11th May 1993 (26 y.o) in Sydney, Australia. He is half-Filipino, half-Australian. He joined PBB or Pinoy Big Brother, a reality show in the Philippines. From there, he rose to fame and he is now one of the biggest stars in showbiz industry.

There is still no definite date when they are going to air Soulmate but it is expected to air this year, 2020. Filipino fans share different opinions about the team-up of James and Nancy. Some fans disliked the idea since they didn't want Nadine to be left behind. They wanted Nadine to be the partner of James Reid. It is understandable as Jadine love team marked the most loved couple in the Philippines. However, there are also some fans who praised the new team-up and are excited to watch this show.
